It was a delight to welcome back our Leavers of 2018 for Our Speech Night and Awards Presentation Evening. They achieved a fantastic set of results that have taken them all on to their next steps and placed Balshaw's as one of the highest performing schools in the area.

We were informed on the 16th May of the death of Gwyneth Smith. Gwyneth was a student of Balshaw's where she met her husband, Keith Smith.

Balshaw's Remembers Ryan Masterman on the 10th Anniversary of his Death

Ryan Masterman died ten years ago, on 10th April 2006, while riding his bike. On Friday 20th May there will be a memorial service in school for friends and family.
