Children's Mental Health Week 2022
We were very proud to be supporting Children’s Mental Health again this year. It is a really important week and one that we look forward to immensely.
U13s Girls' Football Team
The under 13's 6-a-side football team took part in a Blackburn Rovers community trust football tournament on Monday 13th December.
U14s Girls' Football Team
The under 14s girls' football team have been in good form in the past two rounds of the Lancashire cup, in Round 1, beating Ormskirk 17-1, and then in Round 2 beating a good Bowland side, 7-4.
South Ribble Cross Country Competition
A huge well done and thank you to all our students who represented Balshaw's on Saturday 20th November.
English Speaking Union Success!
A huge well done to our English Speaking Union Public Speaking Team who performed brilliantly this week in the round one heat and over Zoom too!
Staff Football Friendly for Children in Need
Our Staff Football Friendly, for Children in Need, took place after school on Tuesday 22nd November.

Day of the Dead
On Wednesday 3rd November, Years 7 and 8 celebrated the Mexican tradition of Day of the Dead, when Mexicans celebrate the lives of their loved ones who have passed on.
