A few months ago our year 8 indoor athletics teams attended the South Ribble competition.
Our U15s indoor cricket team were excellent again as they represented the school and South Ribble at the Lancashire regional stage of the competition.
On 1st March Sports Development organised their annual primary schools dance event and 6 of our year 8 Dance Club members helped to lead the morning's event.
Tom Cottingham and Leon Stott were students at Balshaw’s between 1996-2001. They are helping their friend Jamie to raise money for St.Catherine’s Hospice in memory of Jamie’s Aunty Caron who sadly passed away.
Adam Butler, in Year 11, has been busy over the last few weeks winning a gold medal in judo at both the Midlands and North West Area Open competitions.
