Open Doors - visit from Naomi

We were very happy to welcome Naomi from Open Doors to Balshaw's on Monday 13th March to lead our act of worship for Years 7 and 8 and run interactive sessions on the persecuted church around the world for Years 8-11.

Our students look at the work of Open Doors as part of the RE Curriculum, and so we were delighted to have Naomi come in person to share with us the struggles many Christians around the world face for their faith in Jesus. The students engaged really well with the material, and it has given us all much to think about as we consider how we can follow Christ’s command to “love others as we love ourselves.
