Balshaw's Cricket Trip to watch Lancashire T20

On Thursday 25^th May we took a group of Year 7 and 8 students over to Emirates Old Trafford to watch a live Twenty Twenty cricket fixture.

The students enjoyed a thrilling fixture watching Lancashire Lightning take on Leicestershire Foxes. This gave the students the opportunity to watch a live sports event which gave them a different perspective to watching cricket on the TV. Our students also got the change to be on TV themselves when they were interviewed by the media at the start of the fixture!
