Fabulous Football!

Our girls have been really busy with their fabulous football skills recently!

Our Year 7 and 8 girls took part in the U13s South Ribble 7-a-side competition and they finished in 2nd place out of 10 schools, winning 5, drawing 3 and only losing the 1 game to PGHS (who went on to win the tournament). 

Our Year 9 and 10 girls took part in the U15s South Ribble 7-a-side competition and they finished in 1st place out of 8 schools! They went unbeaten throughout the competition with 5 wins and 2 draws and 0 goals conceded! Lois C in Year 10, who is currently at Manchester United, scored all the goals. She has a bright football future ahead of her for sure!

Finally, the U13s team were back in action again in the U13s Blackburn Rovers Community Trust 6-a-side competition, where they finished as semi-finalists with a 3rd place finish in the first group, then 2nd place in the final group! Losing the 3rd/4th place final after a very long, cold day!
