BAE Systems Visit - Year 11 Students

On Tuesday 2nd April, a group of Year 11 Balshaw’s students, accompanied by Mr Melling and Mrs Seedall, visited the Academy for Skills and Knowledge at the BAE Systems site at Samlesbury, Lancashire.

Rotary Club Technology Tournament

GCHQ Girls' CyberFirst Competition

Our fabulous entries have been on display at the Leyland Civic Centre during the first week of February. One of our entries was chosen as the District winner for the fifth time over the last ten years.

UK Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge

Year 7 Science Club Trip to Blackpool

In October our Year 7 Science Club took a trip to Blackpool. They visited the Zoo, the Tower, including the fabulous Tower Ballroom as seen on Strictly, the spooky Dungeons and even built a replica of the Tower in LEGO!

Year 9 Space STEM Week
