Year 10 Girls Achieve Third Place in the STEM Challenge Day

6 June 2017

On Tuesday 16th May, four of our girls, Izzy, Teri, Victoria and Milena, travelled to Westholme School in Blackburn, with Mrs Holden, to compete in the STEM Challenge Day.

During the day, the girls had to take part in four tasks in the subject areas of biology, chemistry, physics and technology. There were twenty two other schools who took part in the event and we are delighted to say that our girls came third.

Well done girls. This is an amazing achievement and we are extremely proud of you.

Thank you to Mrs Holden for her support.

You can read more about the STEM Challenge Day on the Westholme website.

Thank you to Westholme School for the photograph of the girls and Mrs Holden.
