On Saturday 17th October, while most of you would have been relaxing at home, the Drama Department met at Preston Railway Station at 7:30 a.m. to begin their journey to London.
Teri Williams has had a busy and successful time competing in a number of competitions during 2015.

Balshaw's Church of England High School students received their GCSE examination results today and we are very proud of their achievements which are the culmination of a lot of hard work.
Our Gardening Club at Balshaw’s Church of England High School meets three days per week at lunchtime. The group members are aged between 11 and 14.
Our Year 10 Geology students visited Ingleton Waterallls in North Yorkshire in July to immerse themselves in local geology.
On Friday 3rd July, Mr Mort, Miss Lockhart, Miss Chisholm and Mrs Elliott took a group of students from Year 9 and Year 10 on an educational visit to Bletchley Park, near Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire.
On 13th July 2015 Students in Years 7, 8 and 9, who qualified to attend the awards afternoon, had a fun packed afternoon ahead of them.
To highlight the work of the Fairtrade group at Balshaw's the students invited Tiddlywinks the local preschool group to join them for a Fairtrade Teddy Bears' picnic, in July 2015, at the school’s Eco shelter built by the students in 2014.
A huge congratulations to all our athletes who represented the school so well on Friday 26th June. Their fantastic performances have led to us being crowned the District Athletics Champions!
In the summer of 2015 Year 9 students had an out of this world experience when they were involved in Space Week. Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (the STEM subjects) led the way by offering a whole range of lessons based on the exploration of space.
