Anti-Bullying Week

Balshaw's students have been participating in events this week to show our support for Anti-Bullying Week 2020. The theme for this year is "United Against Bullying".

All Balshaw's students had special assembly for Anti-Bullying Week looking at how we can stand together to fight for change and to stand up to bullies and support each other. Upper School students have had discussion time in Tutor to look at the positive and negative impacts of Covid 19 on online bullying, what we can do to reduce and protect ourselves from online bullying and how choosing kindness can be a tool to help us to cope. There have been our daily prayers and thoughts and students, in Years 7 to 9, have been busy using their creative skills and writing wonderful and positive messages for Anti-Bullying Week 2020.
