More Success for Judo Champion - Adam Butler

1 February 2016

Adam has been busy competing in several tournaments recently - as well as revising for his exams!

He won bronze at the recently at the Midlands Open in Walsall, which is a great result at a difficult competition. He lost only one fight in the semi final to the current British champion.

Adam has also won a silver medal at the British schools qualifiers in Goole. This medal has earned him automatic qualification into the British Schools Championships in April.

Finally, he won gold at the recent Lancashire Championships in Blackburn.

This shows Adam's continuing development after good performances at the back end of last year when he won a gold medal at Southend and 7th place at the National Championships.  He has a very busy year ahead of him which includes competitions and training camps in England, Scotland, Poland and Spain, both with his club and the North West squad.

We are very proud of your achievements Adam - keep up all your hard work and dedication.
